PILOT COHORT
Ahmad is a 17-year-old computer science student with a passion for programming and problem-solving. He began learning his first programming language, Python, in 2021. Four months later, he joined the CodeBrave Web Dev Programme and received his first internship, creating a website for a US-based company. Through his internships and work experience, he’s gained extensive experience in full-stack development and programming. Ahmad is constantly looking for new ways to broaden his knowledge and improve his coding skills.

Ahmad is a passionate first-year Computer Science student. Ever since he taught himself Java back in 2019, he’s been hooked on programming. Ahmad has since broadened his skills to include Python and JavaScript, and he’s always on the lookout for new challenges to tackle. As a Web Development intern at CodeBrave, Ahmad gained invaluable professional experience that ignited his passion for a career in tech. With his drive to learn more and his dedication to his craft, Ahmad is on his way to making a mark in the industry.

Amal is a 19-year-old university student. She started her coding journey in 2021 when she was accepted to CodeBrave Web Dev Programme. Since then, she has built more than 10 websites and learned HTML, CSS, Javascript and Figma. She is working to empower her community through technology.

COHORT 1
After ranking 3rd in national high school exams, Jana has earned a merit-based scholarship at the American University of Beirut to study Computer and Communications Engineering. She discovered her passion for programming through her CodeBrave sessions. That’s why she ultimately chose to major in CCE. Read her story here.

Line is a 17-year old high school student, specialising in General Sciences, and a CodeBrave student. At 16, she founded an online business selling handmade bracelets, rings, keychains bookmarks, and phone accessories. Since joining the Web Dev Programme, she has developed her coding skills and made lots of amusing and amazing projects.

Marwa is a biology student and a YES alumni. She loves everything about Asian pop and dramas. She’s been a CodeBrave student since 2022 and has enjoyed growing her knowledge about the developing world of technology. She also loves learning with other students and her teacher.

Typing Guide
Ali (Cohort 1) who is currently undergoing an internship building a web-based game created this website for his final project based on a passion of his: Typing. The website, which is only operational on Chrome now, allows people to test their typing speed and work on improving it!
AstroZod
Marwa (Cohort 1) designed and built this website after only learning to code for 96 hours! Her website introduces visitors to the world of astrology, zodiac and Chinese Signs, and more.
Tic Tac Toe
Omran (Cohort 2), and still at the very early stages of the Web Dev programme, coded the Tic Tac Toe game using his new Python skills. Two players can play the game on his digital version.
Guide to your country
Marwa (Cohort 1) designed and built this website, inspired by her favourite country Korea! Her website serves as a country guide. It includes important information, attractions to visit, and foods to try.
Hangman
Abir (Cohort 2) coded the Hangman game using his new Python skills. Play it to guess between movies, fruits, and countries either in group or individually.
