28 students learn to solve agricultural problems with code

28 students from our Beirut Makassed partner school immersed themselves during three days in the field of agritech in our first STEM awareness raising event. The students learned how tech can be used to improve farming and growing processes.

On the first day, students toured the American University of Beirut’s botanical garden and saw the practical application of technology in agriculture.

Over the next two days, students learned basic coding concepts and collaborated on building projects to solve agricultural problems. They were guided by their teachers, a CodeBrave scholar, and two students from Dar Al Awlad, one of our partner schools.

The event was an amazing opportunity for students to learn about the potential of technology in agriculture and how it can be used to address real-world challenges.
