Co-Director & Head of Education
Eliana combines her BE in Mechanical Engineering with an MA in Educational Psychology, both American University of Beirut, embodying CodeBrave’s joint expertise! She has 12 years of experience teaching children.

Clem Brown
Co-Director and Co-Founder
Clem is the Co-Founder of CodeBrave. She previously worked at the UN in Lebanon in inter-agency coordination and data management. She graduated from Oxford University in Arabic & Persian. Clem speaks on topics related to STEM education and child-led learning and has been featured in WIRED Top 5 MENA Startups, Al Jazeera, and Deloitte Fast50..

Inass Nawam
Teacher Training Manager
Inass is a passionate teacher who believes that to trigger any change in future generations, you have to start at the school level. She believes in the critical role a teacher plays in shaping students’ education and personalities, and improving their emotional and social skills. She has a master’s degree in Educational Administration and Policy Studies. She considers herself fortunate to be a CodeBrave tutor, where she can provide students with quality coding education, which is a basic requirement and essential skill.

Abbass Maanna
STEM Education Expert
Abbass is a passionate Mathematics educator, education leader, and a teacher trainer. He holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration and has been teaching for more than 8 years. What he loves most about his job is helping pupils become better citizens on all levels.

Hana Bechara
Head of Operations
Hana manages CodeBrave’s projects in Lebanon and trains our teachers on Child Psychology. She has a background working with children from deeply traumatic backgrounds both as an operations coordinator and therapist. She has a degree in Psychology from American University of Beirut and holds a Masters in Project Management from the University of Salford.

May Gharib
Curriculum Manager
May is an architect and socio-urban anthropologist by training, an educator by heart, and a curriculum designer by passion. Even while studying architecture, she was drawn to education—building over 10 years of experience. For the past 6 years, May has specialised in coding and educational technology, merging her diverse background to design learning experiences that are creative, critical, and deeply human. She is certified in Next-Level AI Skills for Educators from ISTE and is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to empower students in meaningful, ethical ways. She’s driven by one belief: empowered students can change everything!

Gracia Soued
HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Gracia leads communications at CodeBrave and heads business development for its social enterprise arm, which includes CodeBrave Tutors and CodeBrave Private Schools. She co-founded CodeBrave Tutors in 2021—the nonprofit’s first revenue-generating initiative offering online tutoring to children globally while employing teachers in Lebanon. With 14 years of experience in marketing and communications, Gracia has worked across the tech entrepreneurship and oil & gas sectors in Lebanon and the MENA region. She holds a specialised Master’s in Marketing & Communications from ESA Business School and ESCP Europe.

Caro Loutfi
Partnerships & Strategy
Caro is an Executive and Strategy Consultant helping non-profits scale their impact. She was previously an Associate Director at Human Rights Watch, focused on Development and Outreach and based in London. She is the former Executive Director of Apathy is Boring, where she grew the organisation into a multi-million dollar non-profit, advised the Prime Minister’s Office on youth policy, and was named one of the Top 25 Women of Influence in Canada for this work. She holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy from Oxford University and sits on various boards and advisory committees globally.

Farah Binni

Farah has more than 13 years of experience working in Customer Service, Banking and Team Management. She holds a Master of Business Administration focused in Management from the Lebanese American University.

Ali Al Ayash
Communications Manager
Ali has 5+ years of experience in communications, project management, content creation, and academic research within the humanitarian and development sectors. With proven ability to manage media relations, he loves creating compelling content across diverse platforms and leveraging social media to increase visibility and engagement. Ali holds a BA in International Affairs from the American University of Science and Technology (AUST).

Antoine Ibry
Partnership & Mentorship Manager
Antoine is a computer engineering student and the president of his faculty. He has been tutoring kids, teens and adults for more than 6 years now. He enjoys helping students find their hidden talents and skills, use them to produce something valuable and change the world!

Elissa Lichaa El Khoury

Elissa holds a Bachelor’s in Bioinformatics and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the Lebanese American University. She has been teaching for five years now various subjects like maths, biology and coding at LAU and Labban Centre.

Jad Alayan
Equipment & Tech Officer
Jad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from AUST. At 26 years old, he brings a fresh perspective and several years of hands-on experience in mechatronics engineering. Jad manages key projects and optimises equipment performance, leveraging a background in integrating mechanical systems with advanced electronics.

Ayah is a Project Manager with seven years of expertise in youth and education programs within humanitarian organizations. She has hands-on experience in project implementation, coordination, and fostering community engagement. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Computing in Education at the American University of Beirut, Ayah combines her growing knowledge of digital education with a steadfast commitment to empowering communities. With over 10 years of experience, Jad’s professional journey includes roles such as a technology manager, system administrator, technology instructor, investor, and entrepreneur. Lina is a physicist who transitioned to programming after graduation after completing courses in computer science and web development. She’s been a teacher for more than 3 years. Her ongoing passion for both education and technology drives her to constantly enhance her skills.

Marwa is a passionate educator, has a Master 1 degree in pure Mathematics and an approximate of three years teaching experience. She is Certified Web developer from flatiron school.

Mira Akl

Mira is currently a B.Sc. in Physics at the Lebanese University. Her academic journey has been fueled by a passion for astrophysics and computational sciences, which introduced her to the world of coding. She thrives in the realm of education, particularly when working with children. For the past two years, she has been imparting her knowledge in mathematics and physics, trying to make an impact in the lives of her students. She now hopes she can make an even bigger difference by teaching code.

Mona Moussa

Mona holds a BA in Education from the Lebanese University and has been teaching a diverse range of students from different ages and backgrounds since 2016. She initially began teaching English, but in 2021, she ventured into the dynamic world of coding. Fueled by her passion for teaching and supported by her educational background, her mission is to inspire and empower young minds.

Nabigha has been working in software development for 2 years now. She is passionate about making programmes with impact and like applying programming in Health and Medicine. Nabigha holds a Masters in Human Molecular Diagnostics from the Lebanese University.

Abdul Karim Mourad
Coding & Robotics Teacher Trainer
Abdul Karim is a passionate educator dedicated to teaching coding to kids, believing it fosters creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. He has over seven years of experience in NGOs as a Digital Facilitator, Coding, and Arduino Teacher. He is an AWS re/Start Instructor, AWS Cloud Solutions Architect Certified, and a Cisco ITE, Linux Essentials, and Cybersecurity Essentials Trainer. In addition to tech education, he has been an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for over nine years and a Trainer at the Lebanese Red Cross since 2020, committed to empowering others through first aid and emergency response training.

Ammar Zaarour

Ammar is passionate about technology, education, and empowering the next generation of innovators. He holds an M2 Research degree in Information System and Data Intelligence from Lebanese University and an MSc in Computer and Communication Engineering from LIU. With 3+ years of teaching experience, he has been a Coding Instructor at KAYANY Foundation and a Math Teacher at LOST Organization. He specialises in breaking down complex concepts into engaging, hands-on lessons and love inspiring young minds to think critically, solve problems, and build the future with technology!

Aref Aboutrabi
Coding & Robotics Trainer
Aref is a software engineer with five years of experience, passionate about making coding easy and enjoyable for young learners. He believes that introducing programming at an early age fosters creativity, problem-solving, and confidence—essential skills for the future. His goal as an educator is to break down complex coding concepts into engaging, interactive lessons that spark curiosity. Alongside his work in software development, he runs Devitty, a business focused on tech solutions, and teaches coding lessons to young minds from robotics and block coding to pure programming. He also works at Aspire Software as a Software Engineer, where he specialises in building software.

With a Master’s degree in Computer and Communication Engineering and over six years of experience in robotics, coding, IT, and education, she specialises in creating hands-on learning experiences that bring technology to life. Passionate about integrating cutting-edge technologies into education, she develops interactive curricula, leads research and development initiatives, and coaches award-winning robotics teams. Her commitment to fostering innovation has earned me multiple accolades, including international certifications and competition awards. As an internationally certified Arduino educator and a proud member of both the EdTech Syndicate and the Engineers Syndicate in Lebanon, she contributes to educational advancements by delivering Train-the-Trainer workshops and collaborating on STEAM curriculum development. Karim is a Video Game Designer and Developer with a passion for making programming fun and interactive. With a Bachelor of Computer Science specialising in video game development, he has spent the last four years teaching programming to students worldwide, both online and in person. His expertise lies in video game AI development, and he loves bringing ideas to life through code. Whether it is creating immersive worlds or designing smart NPC behaviour, he enjoys the creative and technical challenges that come with game development. When he is not coding, you’ll find him playing video games—because the best way to make great games is to love them first!

Khaled Al Masri

Khaled is a passionate Full Stack Developer with a strong foundation in front-end and back-end technologies, including JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, and PHP. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has completed several training programmes, such as CodePact and Afaqona. Currently, he works as a coding and robotics instructor with CodeBrave and BrightChamps, teaching students both online and in-person. He enjoys helping others learn to code and is always eager to expand his own skills.

Khawla Chamas

Khawla is a Biomedical Engineer and Computer Scientist with a passion for coding, robotics, and education. Lama’s passion for the intersection of computer science and medicine led her to pursue a degree in Bioinformatics with a minor in Data Analytics at LAU. As a researcher, she explored the state of bioinformatics in Lebanon and developed a networking platform to connect professionals in the field. Beyond academics, she is a Red Cross volunteer, dedicated to humanitarian leadership and community impact. She also has a deep love for writing. She thrives on continuous learning, and is deeply committed to making technology more accessible.

Lama Wehbe
Coding & Robotics Trainer
Lama believes in the transformative power of technology, from the intricate networks that connect us to the code that shapes our digital world. She also believes in the power of hands-on learning and applying concepts to solve real-world challenges. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecom and Networking Engineering from UOB, which ignited her passion for technology. Since then, she has worked as a software developer, honing her skills and gaining valuable real-world experience. She has seen firsthand how code can bring ideas to life, and is eager to share that experience with her students. Her work as a tutor with Oda and GeekExpress has further refined her ability to make STEM education accessible, engaging, and inspiring. Lia Shahine
Coding & Robotics Trainer
Lia is fascinated by the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and technology. As a senior Bioinformatics student at LAU, she is passionate about exploring how data and algorithms can help decode the complexities of the human brain. She has been a coding and STEM instructor at All Girls Code at AUB and a volunteer mentor. She is also an MUN trainer at LAU, helping students develop critical thinking and public speaking skills. Outside of academics, she loves solving puzzles, playing chess, and exploring nature, there’s something about patterns, strategy, and the outdoors that keeps her curious!

Mahdi Hallal
Coding & Robotics Trainer
Mahdi is a researcher in Artificial Intelligence and a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator. One of his core mission statements is empowering individuals through STEM education and scientific endeavours. On a personal level, he is passionate about reading, writing, and hiking. Mahdi graduated from LAU with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and gained expertise in diverse domains such as software engineering and technical consultancy. Over the past 4 years, he has devoted myself to teaching coding, mathematics, and soft skills to people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Majd Saad
Coding & Robotics Trainer
Majd is a computer engineering student at Lebanese American University. His journey in technology began with web development, where he honed my problem-solving skills and deepened his understanding of software systems. Over time, he developed a strong passion for education, leading him to teach mathematics at various levels. Through his work with different organisations, he has contributed to creating learning opportunities that make complex concepts more accessible. He is always eager to explore new technologies and innovative ways to bridge the gap between engineering and education.

Mouemen is a senior professional in the tech industry with over eight years of experience helping companies worldwide achieve their digital and automation goals. His belief in the power of technology for good led him to work across Asia, Europe, and the U.S., collaborating with big tech firms and global brands. Throughout his career, he has not only worked alongside brilliant minds but also trained many others in software and hardware technologies. His passion for technology—understanding how it works and sharing that knowledge—led him to study Electrical and Computer Engineering at AUB, followed by a Master’s in Digital Transformation Management & Leadership at ESCP London. Nagham AlSayegh

Nagham is a UI/UX Designer and Software Developer passionate about making tech education more accessible. She holds a BS in Communication and Computer Engineering and a UI/UX certificate from SE Factory. Currently, she is pursuing her MA in Computing in Education to further bridge the gap between technology and learning. With over four years of experience as a coding tutor, she has designed and delivered courses that empower students from Grades 2 to 12 to explore programming, game development, and web design. Her work focuses on intuitive digital experiences and inclusive learning platforms that make coding accessible to all.

Nour AlBidewe
Coding & Robotics Trainer
Nour is a a data scientist who thrives on creating fast and creative solutions. Her journey into coding wasn’t easy—she still remembers the challenges she faced when she first started. That’s why she is passionate about helping students understand coding in a fun and accessible way. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Data Science from AUB. Professionally, she has been a Data Scientist at Artefact for the past two years, working on innovative solutions that turn data into powerful insights. Whether in learning or teaching, her focus is always on making complex concepts simple and engaging.

Raed El Hassan

Raed graduated with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from UOB. He is passionate about AI, Machine Learning, Robotics, and coding. He has taught coding, art, woodcraft, and electronics to kids with disadvantage background at Ruwwad Al Tanmeya, helping them develop creativity and problem-solving skills in a way that traditional education often fails to do. Giving back to the community has always been a priority for him, and he has been praised for his ability to make complex concepts accessible and engaging. He also gained hands-on experience as an intern in solar energy at AEE with Earth Technology and electrical installation at SKAFF Contracting – EDSO Group.

Sanaa holds a BS in Management Information Systems from LIU. She has a passion for teaching and technology, especially in coding and robotics. She has 2 years of experience as a Coding and Robotics Instructor at Bright Champs Academy, where she has taught over 40 students across both the Arab and UK regions. Her focus in both learning and teaching is helping students understand the core concepts behind technology and innovation.

Shaymaa Hayek

Hi, I’m Shaymaa Hayek! A data science graduate from USJ University, I blend analytical thinking with a mission to empower young minds. For 4 years, I’ve crafted interactive IT and digital literacy lessons for kids at Ruwwad Altanmeya—with a twist: I focus on ´igniting self-driven learning’ so students become their own teachers’. To me, education isn’t just about memorizing facts; it’s about nurturing curiosity and creativity. I design lessons as playgrounds for exploration, where children experiment, problem-solve, and discover their ‘aha!’ moments. Every child deserves a seat at the table of transformative learning, and I’m here to ensure technology becomes their ladder to reach it.

With 2 years of experience teaching coding to kids and over 7 years of teaching overall, she is committed to inspiring students to think critically and embrace problem-solving. She believes that education is not just about imparting knowledge, but about fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Her mission is to empower students with the skills they need to navigate and thrive in a rapidly changing technological world.
